Dr David Izon is an experienced skin cancer surgeon and innovative multifaceted general practitioner with more than 16 years of experience in skin cancer medicine and surgery. He has a strong focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin cancers, with a particular interest in melanoma research and evidence-based patient care.

Dr Izon completed a Master’s Degree in Cancer Sciences at The University of Melbourne and is currently involved in publishing melanoma research across a number of medical and epidemiological publications. His commitment to ongoing research and education reflects his passion for advancing skin cancer management and improving patient outcomes.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Izon has held several academic roles, including Conjoint Senior Clinical Lecturer at Deakin Medical School, as well as Lecturer in General Practice at The University of Melbourne and Monash University. His extensive teaching and mentoring experience highlights his dedication to supporting the next generation of medical professionals.
